Installation is the factor that makes or breaks a partition system: precise connections to floor, wall and ceiling, tight joints and a dust-controlled process so your operation can keep running during the work. We install both our own systems and partitions already supplied by a third party.
Alongside the initial fit, relocation and removal make up a large part of our work: partitions are moved to a new location within a building when a use changes, or dismantled without leaving residue at the end of a lease, so the space can be handed back in its original condition.
Trennwandprofis works across German-speaking Switzerland with our own installers, either at an hourly rate or as a fixed price based on a measured take-off. After a short site visit or a review of photos and plans, you receive a firm quote within 24 hours.
Variants & systems
Removal & reinstatement (end of lease)
Removal of partitions without leaving residue when moving out or changing tenants, including disposal of the material by agreement. The space is handed back in the condition agreed with the landlord.
Relocating & reconfiguring partitions
Existing demountable partitions are dismantled and rebuilt at a new location within the building, for example when the room layout changes. We check the grid and connections on site.
Installing third-party systems
We also install partition systems you have ordered from another supplier, including the connection to floor, wall and ceiling. We review the system documents and cut list beforehand for completeness.
New installation
Fitting newly delivered partitions to the construction plan, carried out with minimal dust and ongoing cleaning of the work area. Suitable for offices, practices and commercial space while operations continue.

- Can a partition be installed without drilling?
- With demountable partitions, profiles are screwed rather than drilled extensively into load-bearing elements, though some point fixings at the floor or ceiling connection are usually unavoidable. For sensitive floors such as raised access floors or natural stone, we agree the fixing method with you in advance.
- What does partition installation cost?
- Installation is billed on a time and material basis, or we can offer a fixed price based on a measured take-off. Removal and reinstatement are billed by area. We provide a firm quote within 24 hours for a specific project.
- Is removal really residue-free?
- With our demountable partitions, yes, because they are screwed rather than plastered: after removal, usually only small fixing holes remain, which are simple to make good. A conventional drywall partition involves considerably more work to remove.
- How long does removal take at the end of a lease?
- For a single office or meeting room we usually plan one working day, with more time for several rooms depending on wall length and access. We schedule the date around your handover deadline with the landlord.
- Do you install partitions we bought from another supplier?
- Yes, we install third-party systems provided the system documents and cut list are complete. We review the documents in advance and get in touch if anything is missing.
- Will installation disrupt our operations?
- We work with minimal dust and clean the work area continuously, so adjacent areas stay usable during installation. On request we schedule the work outside your core hours or in stages.
