Principles and Legal Basis

This privacy policy is based on the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and its implementing ordinance. It explains what personal data we process when you visit this website or contact us, for what purpose this happens, and what rights you have.

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate the website, respond to your enquiries and prepare quotations. If you access our website from the EU, the relevant principles of the GDPR apply in addition, where applicable.

Hosting with Infomaniak

This website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, based in Geneva, Switzerland. All servers are located in Switzerland, so your data does not leave Swiss jurisdiction when you use this website.

When you access the website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information in server log files, namely your IP address, the date and time of access, and browser information (user agent). This processing serves the secure and stable operation of the website and helps detect and prevent faults and misuse.

Infomaniak acts as our data processor in this context and is contractually bound to confidentiality and to Swiss data protection requirements.

Contact and Quote Forms

When you use our contact or quote request form, we process the information you provide, such as your name, contact details and project information, solely to handle your enquiry and prepare a quotation.

Submissions are sent by email via Infomaniak's mail servers. You will usually receive an automatic confirmation email after submitting the form.

We retain your information for as long as necessary to process your enquiry and any resulting order, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

File Uploads

In our quote request form, you can optionally upload photos, floor plans or sketches so we can better assess your partition wall project. We use these files exclusively to prepare your quotation and plan the on-site measurement.

Uploaded files are not shared with third parties and are deleted once the enquiry or project has been completed.

Google reCAPTCHA

To protect our forms (quick enquiry, contact, quote) against automated spam, we use Google reCAPTCHA v2 (the “I'm not a robot” checkbox), a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA.

reCAPTCHA loads only on pages that contain a form. When loading and verifying, technical data such as your IP address, browser and device information, mouse movements and, where applicable, cookies set by Google (e.g. “_GRECAPTCHA”) are transmitted to Google and analysed there to distinguish humans from bots. The result is additionally verified server-side via Google's API. This transfer may involve the USA; Google LLC is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning, abuse-free contact channel (Art. 31 para. 1 FADP). If you prefer not to load reCAPTCHA, you can reach us at any time by phone, e-mail or WhatsApp.

Google Maps

On our contact page, we display a map with a two-click solution. When the page loads, no connection to Google is established yet: you initially see a static preview only.

Only once you actively click to activate the map does Google Maps load, resulting in data being transferred to Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited, potentially to the USA. Google LLC is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

WhatsApp Contact

We offer you the option to contact us voluntarily via WhatsApp using a wa.me link, for example to send photos for a quick initial assessment. The link opens the WhatsApp application on your device, and our website itself does not automatically transmit any data to Meta.

Once you start the chat, the conversation is subject to the terms and privacy policy of WhatsApp and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred to the USA in this context. Meta is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

We do not embed any Meta tracking pixel or comparable Meta analytics tools on our website.

Fonts and Cookies

The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or other external font providers, so no data is transmitted to third parties in this respect.

We currently use only technically necessary storage required for the website's basic functions. We do not use analytics or marketing tracking, which is why no cookie banner is currently required.

Should we introduce statistics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this privacy policy accordingly and obtain your consent where required.

Your Rights

Under the FADP, you have the right to request information about the personal data we process about you, as well as its correction, deletion or restriction of processing. You may also object to the processing of your data, unless we are legally required to process it.

Retention and Data Security

We transmit and store your data exclusively via encrypted connections (TLS). Access to personal data within BETW GmbH is limited to those employees who need it to process your enquiry.

We update this privacy policy whenever our website, our services or the applicable legal requirements change. The version published on the website at the time of your visit applies.
